Political commentator Alex Jones’ iconic Infowars enterprise appears slated for destruction following a protracted legal battle fending off Democrat law firms hellbent on silencing him.
The pro-America host has for decades criticized illegal wars, mainstream media propaganda and government corruption; however, the Supreme Court’s recent decision declining to hear his case challenging the constitutionality of several summary judgments has made Infowars’ imminent shutdown all but certain.
As the leftist establishment prepares to rip the company Jones built from the ground up out from underneath him, the embattled show host has called for aid from a few supporters in considerable positions of power.
During his Ohio senatorial campaign, before he was Vice President of the United States, JD Vance made headlines crediting Alex Jones for being more credible than MSNBC host Rachel Maddow.

“Alex Jones is a far more reputable source of information than Rachel Maddow,” Vance highlighted in Sept. 2021. “One of them is censored by the regime. The other promoted by it.”
The following week, Vance expounded on his point during a closed-door speech, explaining why Jones was more trustworthy than Maddow.
Here’s a clip and transcript from the event:

Transcript:
Speaking the truth, saying the obvious things, is really important in this moment, and we all have to do that. We have to do it in our businesses, in our personal lives. Just being honest. Don’t fall for the consultant lines. Don’t fall for the gobbledygook. Actually just speak in direct truth. We have a society that’s terrified of it. And that’s why we need more people to actually do it.
The third challenge I want to talk about is we’re horrified in this country. And I see it on both the left and the right. We’re horrified of unconventional people who say and believe unconventional things. I got myself into a little hot water last week, because I made what seemed to me a plainly obvious observation that Alex Jones, the Infowars guy, is a better source of information than Rachel Maddow, the MSNBC gal.
Now, some people said, ‘Well, JD, you’re just trolling.” Well, yeah, of course, I was just trolling. But that doesn’t mean what I said is in any way untrue. Look, I think there’s a not terrible chance that one of you is going to be sharing cellblock 12A in Premier Harris’s prison detention camp in a few years. If we’re going to all end up in that place, we might as well have a little fun while we get there. It’s okay to troll when you when you make and speak fundamental truths. But look, I do think that-I do think what I said was correct. Yeah, I was trolling: I was also speaking a truth.
Because look, if you listen to Rachel Maddow every night, the basic worldview that you have, is that MAGA grandmas who have family dinners on Sunday and bake apple pies for their family are about to start a violent insurrection against this country. But if you listen to Alex Jones every day, you would believe that a transnational financial elite controls things in our country, that they hate our society, and oh, by the way, a lot of them are probably sex perverts too. Sorry, ladies and gentlemen, that’s actually a hell of a lot more true than Rachel Maddow’s view of society.
But then the second criticism that I get is, well, he’s a crazy conspiracist, right? He doesn’t believe that 9/11 actually happened or he believed 9/11 was an inside job. And look, I understand this desire to not be called terrible names. It’s like, yeah, okay, this person believes crazy things. But I bet if you’re being honest with yourself, every single person in this room believes at least something that’s a little crazy, right? I believe the devil is real and that he works terrible things in our society. That’s a crazy conspiracy theory to a lot of very well-educated people in this country right now. Even though, of course, they participate in it without knowing about it. But that’s a separate, a separate matter.
But ladies and gentlemen, the most important truths often come from people who are crazy 60% of the time, but they’re right 40% of time. I don’t know Elon Musk very well. I know him a little bit. I’ve had a couple of private conversations with him. Elon Musk believes some crazy stuff. I’m very close friends with Peter Thiel. I think Peter Thiel is one of the most important sources of non-conventional truth in our society. Peter Thiel believes some things that are considered crazy by opinion makers.
In subsequent updates, Vance clarified he never said Jones was “one of the most credible news sources in the whole country,” as falsely claimed by his Democrat opponent during a debate, but was rather highlighting how leaders shouldn’t be afraid to hear “crazy” ideas.
Jones also discussed meeting Vance behind the scenes at a TPUSA event in 2024 months before he was declared Trump’s VP pick, where Jones was informed he and his chief of staff were longtime listeners and received confirmation he had been selected as the nominee.

Donald Trump also showed his support for Alex Jones even before ascending to the presidency.
As his first presidential campaign heated up in 2015, Trump at a rally mentioned an Infowars report from the southern US border featured on the Drudge Report that documented a cartel drug-smuggling operation in real-time, though he did not explicitly name-drop Jones or Infowars.
Then-candidate Trump later joined Infowars for a special half-hour long interview in December 2015, where he discussed geopolitics and commended Jones.
“I just want to finish by saying your reputation is amazing. I will not let you down,” Trump told Jones, adding, “You will be very very impressed I hope and I think we’ll be speaking a lot, but you’ll be, you’ll be looking at me in a year, two years, let’s give me a little bit of a time to run things, but a year into office you’ll be saying, ‘Wow, I remember that interview. He said he was going to do it and he did a great job.’ You’ll be very proud of our country.”
President Trump in Sept. 2020 also highlighted Spotify’s removal of Alex Jones interviews from its back catalog of Joe Rogan Experience episodes with a repost of a Clay Travis tweet.

The president’s son, Donald Trump Jr., has also spoken out against the coordinated censorship of Infowars, in 2018 pointing out the left’s campaign against Jones was “really about purging all conservative media,” which could lead to the censorship of Breitbart, or The Daily Caller.

In recent years, prior to his father’s re-election, Trump Jr. also joked Jones should serve as a guest press secretary, saying, “Alex Jones for a month would put these people in his place.”

“I’m not saying he’s got everything right, but man, he’s been a lot more right over the last decade or so than anyone in our mainstream media,” Don Jr. continued. “And I can say that with effect, and I’ll get criticized for it, but that’s reality. He has been far more right than our mainstream media on the vast majority of things that are out there.“
All of this is to say Jones has friends and supporters in the highest positions of power who are fully aware of who he is and how he’s been railroaded by unjust Democrat lawfare.
Jones served as the model test case for the very same censorship that was later used against Trump following the Jan. 6 protest – which Trump successfully challenged in court, forcing Facebook, Twitter and Google to pay millions in restitution.
As Infowars stands at the precipice of defeat, and corrupt Democrats lick their chops at the prospect of devouring Jones’ hard work, will the powerful figures who have defended him in the past and claimed to have his back fight for him in his most dire time of need?
