Journalist Nick Shirley filmed a ride-along with ICE agents in Chicago on Wednesday where a carload of five illegal alien “targets” was spotted, sparking a foot chase.
As the federal officers attempted to apprehend the criminal illegals, a large group of anti-Trump demonstrators waving Mexican flags swarmed the area and allowed the suspects to escape into the crowd.
“5 illegals escape deportation in Chicago as protesters waving the Mexico flag crash operation ICE identified a wanted illegal who had once been deported,” Shirley wrote on đť•Ź. “Protesters nearby stormed the deportation attempt and illegals ran into the protest to blend in as other ran away. Should ICE be allowed to arrest those that impede on a law enforcement investigation?”
The anti-ICE activists smacked the vehicle driven by federal agents as they drove away from the scene, with one officer noting they’d have been arrested for attacking the SUV if there were additional units nearby.
